QBank — Image-Based Ophthalmology Cases
A clinical case bank built around real photographs rather than described findings. Each question gives a presentation, a slit lamp image and a fundus image side by side, and asks for the diagnosis. Image citations stay hidden until you have answered, so the source cannot give the answer away.
Three topic sections
- Neuro-Ophthalmology — cranial nerve palsies, internuclear ophthalmoplegia, Horner syndrome, nystagmus, strabismus and pupillary abnormalities. These cases carry the full bedside toolkit: a penlight for the pupillary light reflex, a near/accommodation target, and a cover-uncover occluder.
- Posterior pathologies — retina, choroid, optic nerve and vitreous, read from fundus photography.
- Anterior pathologies — cornea, conjunctiva, sclera, iris and lens, read from slit lamp photography.
How it works
- Choose your topics and the number of questions, then work through the set at your own pace
- Every answer is explained, whether you got it right or not
- Signed-in users get their sessions tracked: score over time, questions answered, and a per-topic breakdown
- Every question carries a feedback box, so an error in a case can be reported in one click
- Anyone with an account can write and submit their own case through the question creator; submissions are reviewed before they go live
